主持完成中国计算机学会信息系统开放课题项目“基于中英文手写体图像的字符切分算法研究”（编号：CCFIS2019-02-02）。作为指导教师指导大学生创新创业项目多项，其中2019年指导“基于行人检测的车辆内轮差预警装置”项目获得校级一等奖；2018年指导“基于无线输电技术设计的无线充电桩与无线移动电源”项目获得校级一等奖；被评为bet356手机版登录网址大学生创新创业项目优秀指导教师2次（2018年、2019年）。以第一作者身份发表SCI期刊论文2篇、CSSCI期刊论文1篇。

WEI Yuanxi is an engineer in the School of Humanities at BUPT. His current research interests include machine learning, object recognition and data analysis. As the project leader, he completed the Open Project of China Computer Federation Information System named "Research on Character Segmentation Algorithm Based on Chinese and English Handwritten Images" (No.: CCFIS2019-02-02). As an instructor to guide college students in many innovative and entrepreneurial projects, among them, in 2019, he guided the project of "Vehicle Inner Wheel Difference Early Warning device Based on Pedestrian Detection" and won the school-level first prize; In 2018, the project of "Wireless Charging Pile and Wireless Mobile Power Design Based on Wireless Transmission Technology" won the first prize of school level; He was rated as an excellent instructor for the undergraduate innovation and entrepreneurship project of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications twice in 2018 and 2019. As the first author, he has published empirical research articles in SCI journals such as Neural Computing and Applications, Applied Intelligence.
